Birth: 8. 2. 1957., Bjelovar

Tribuson took a degree in film and television directing from the Academy for Theatre, Film and Television (today Academy of Drama Arts) in Zagreb. In the early 80’s, she directed feature, documentary and educational films for Television Zagreb (today Croatian radiotelevision), as well as many TV-dramas (the most famous is the costumed fantasy horror melodrama Mor from 1991/92, based on the short story by Ðuro Sudeta). Afterwards she devoted herself to feature films and achieved great ratings and critical acclaim with her romantic melodrama Tri muškarca Melite Žganjer (1998). However, her most successful work up to now is the TV-film Crna kronika ili Dan žena (2000), which lucidly used the motives from Tri muškarca Melite Žganjer. She is also the author of the TV-film Mrtva točka (1995). The writer and screenwriter, Goran Tribuson, is her brother.
