Birth: 23. 4. 1918., Šibenik
He graduated from the collegiate Film School in Belgrade, and afterwards worked as a director in the National Theatre in Split. He started to work in film in the mid 1950s, and altogether made nine short films (his film Devalvacija jednog osmijeha caused a great scandal after it was shown on TV in 1967) and one feature-length film Prvi splitski odred (1972), about the emergence of Partisans in Dalmatia. He was the co-screenwriter of the feature documentary Zalazak stoljeća/Testament L.Z. by Lordan Zafranović (1994).
