Commentary:
Dejan Šorak based his feature film debut on a combination of comical and absurd elements as well as references (the title itself is an ironical paraphrase of the famous Western by Edwin Porter The Great Train Robbery to Slobodan Šijan’s poetics. Although Šorak did not entirely succeed in his attempts, his film still manages to convincingly reconstruct the atmosphere and the time of its events. In addition, he chose good actors and overall it corresponds well to the Western genre, which it obviously uses as its model.
