Commentary:
This debut film by the actor Dejan Aćimović impresses with its high quality of production. It was done in an independent production but with the author’s great enthusiasm. Even though the weak point of this film is the screenplay and its dramaturgy, Aćimović turned out to be a solid director. In overall, thanks to the outstanding and convincing actors and taking into account that this is the only Croatian film with a prison theme, we can conclude that Je li jasno, prijatelju? is a solid and refreshing film. The film was shown at several international festivals, such as Karlovy Vary and Solun.
