Commentary:
In his first feature film, Krsto Papić chose the theme of generational strife. The critics accepted it very hesitantly, and criticized him for his underdeveloped characters. However, from today’s perspective, many of their objections seem exaggerated. The visual expressiveness and the evocative atmosphere of this film are undoubtedly its strong points.
