Davor Žmegač director


Birth: 11. 10. 1955., Zagreb


He studied art history and comparative literature at the University of Philosophy in Zagreb, and afterwards took a degree in film and television directing from the Academy of Drama Arts in Zagreb. He directed several short feature films (e.g. Utočišta, from 1987), and the pilot episode of the never realized TV series Veliki odmor (2000). In his opus of feature films, he mostly dealt with social and political issues, typically using the motif of family life.
