Radovan Orlak, familiarly known as called Orao, fell off a skyscraper on his birthday, while his closest friends waited for him to join them at his party. They had been friends since early childhood, but have recently had less time to spend together because of their daily routines. After Orlak’s death, his friends realize how little they know about him and decide to find out what really happened to him; was it really a suicide...?
Ivica Vidović (Krešo), Božidar Orešković, Vlatko Dulić, Zdenko Jelčić, Ljiljana Blagojević, Gordana Gadžić, Iva Marjanović, Renata Jurković, Ksenija Pajić, Fabijan Šovagović (Kristofić), Otokar Levaj, etc.
Country of production:
Socialist Federative Republic of Yugoslavia (Socialist Republic of Croatia)/Federal Republic of Germany
Pavao Pavličić (based on his novel Artificial Eagle)
According to most critics, this is Zoran Tadić’s weakest film. Eagle is burdened with strained metaphors (with a negative climax in the ending metaphor) and an unnecessarily pathetic outlook on the conservative-patriarchal topic of male friendship.
